Aboriginal People Benefit from
Cuban Teaching Method

Camberra.- An Australian
aboriginal community graduated
the first ten adults who learned
how to write and read using the
Cuban method "Yo, si puedo" (Yes
I Can), which will benefit 60
percent of the population who
are illiterate. The recognized
teaching program, conceived to
be adapted to the most diverse
cultures and languages, showed
the initial results in Wilcannia,
state of New South Wales.
