Las Tunas Seamstresses Support Sugar Harvest

shirts and pants dedicated to the participants in the next sugar harvest whose preparations go quickly.
Taury Zayas, specialist of that entity, commercially well-known as Melissa, told Tiempo21 that the seamstresses of Las Tunas have already finished 80 percent of the foreseen pieces and they have the necessary resources to reach the plan of the year.
Simultaneously, thousands of uniforms are made there for the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) and the Ministry of Interior (MININT), besides other productions that are sold in hard currencies to other ministries and the population.
Every year the seamstresses of Las Tunas produce some 335, 200 uniforms, necessary to start each school year in primary and secondary teachings.
This company also produced in time record 253, 300 protective rags to cover the mouth and the nose in order to counteract the virus of the flu A H1N1.
Melissa takes its name in recognition to the laboriousness of its workers and other employees who produces items for the society and this year they will create values for 10 millions 122, 100 pesos.
