Las Tunas. - The
inhabitants of Las Tunas
eastern province condemn
the US decision of
including Cuba in the
blacklist of countries
that sponsor terrorism
in the world.
In work centers,
schools, factories,
medical centers and
industries, the workers
of the territory, 690
kilometers to the east
of Havana, support the
statement of the
Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of Cuba related
with this topic and
express the injustice
that is made with a
country that has been
example in the fight
against terrorism.
Yanneris Cuevas, a
medical student,
asserted this is a new
lie planned by the US
extreme right and
government, which is
part of the
destabilization they try
to achieve in Cuba, and
another form to have a
reason to maintain the
psychological war
against the Caribbean
island.
The intellectual Juan
Rodriguez classified as
infamy the new lie of
United States, which
main objective is to
harm the prestige of
Cuba in front of the
international public
opinion, "although that
is very difficult,
because the Cuban
Government has
demonstrated thoroughly
his fight against
terrorism", he stressed.
Meetings of protests and
of revolutionary support
took place in the eight
municipalities of the
province to reject once
again another US lie,
and the people of Las
Tunas express their
indignation in front of
this new fact.
Cuba is one of the most
affected countries by
terrorism, panned by US
administrations and
organizations, with a
cost of more than 3, 478
dead and more than two
thousand injured people,
besides other material
and moral damages as
result of that
international scourge.
