Solidarity with Cuba Five Increases

Las Tunas, (Main Writing Tiempo21). - The demand for the release of the Cuban Five, antiterrorists imprisoned for 11 years in the United States increases today in Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

A wire from the Cuban News Agency points out that the US embassy in Santo Domingo

 received a letter, signed by hundreds of people, who considered that Rene Gonzalez, Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labanino, Antonio Guerrero and Fernando Gonzalez have been victims of the US policy.

The missive, directed to president Barack Obama, circulated in the activities organized by the Dominican Campaign of Solidarity with Cuba and The Dominican Committee for the Liberation of the Five.

Meanhhile, in Nicaragua, Trinchera newspaper made reference to conference offered by Noam Chomsky in the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), in which he qualified as shameful and ridiculous the trial against these men in Miami.
