Cuban Parliament
President, Ricardo
Alarcon de Quesada, said
that this legislative
body will protest before
the international
community against the
mistreatment to Gerardo
Hernandez, one of the
Cubans Five,
antiterrorist prisoner
in U.S jails since 1998.
Alarcon said that lawyer for the defense
team of the Five, Leonard Weinglass,
traveled to California, where Gerardo is
confined to claim his right to see and
meet with his client, discuss his
situation and prepare process of habeas
corpus, extraordinary resource
prescribed by law for closed cases like
this the U.S. Supreme Court refused to
review it. |
