The addiction to
legal drugs,
without the due
medical
prescription,
can cause
undesirable and
noxious effects
for the human
health. If it
not avoided, it
guide to the
tolerance, the
overdose, the
intoxication and
also the death.
So it is
important to
continue warning
on the dangerous
consumption of
the improper use
of medications,
controlled as
drugs or with
similar side
effects, because
in a certain
period of time
can lead to
serious problems
like the
dependence or
addiction.
The consumption
of these types
of medication is
determined by a
several
psychological
symptoms that
can end in an
undesired
overdose and to
an addiction.
The public
health in Las
Tunas eastern
province have
the necessary
specialists even
at community
level to prevent
the consumption
of noxious
substances to
the human health,
by means of
physical
exercises and
healthy habits
as the reading,
the music, the
sport and other
recreational and
cultural
activities.
But it is very
important,
according to
some specialists
in Psychiatry,
to maximize the
measures in all
the areas of the
health to avoid
the undue use of
medications,
which are
controlled as
drugs or of
similar side
effects.
It doesn't
exempt to
doctors:
neurologists,
rheumatologists,
pediatricians,
and
cardiologists,
among others,
who prescribe
those
medications to
people needy,
previous
emission of a
medical
certificate and
a prescription.
The reality is
that many of
people that
consume drugs,
prescribed or
not, can suffer
from addiction
and can risk
their lives.
The artifices,
the situations
that can enslave
people to the
consumption of
medications, are
hidden in the
relief or
solution to a
health problem,
the satisfaction
of certain "necessity"
for the pleasant
effects that the
ingestion of
these substances
cause to them.
To eliminate the
breaches, that
make vulnerable
the system, with
better
conditions of
security and
protection and
the constant and
effective
supervision of
that established
on this matter,
it is duty of
those who
prescribe and of
who market these
medications,
task that
depends much of
the will and of
the
responsibility
of each citizen,
because the
addition to the
medications
controlled as
drugs or of
similar side
effects, can be
deadly for the
well-being and
the health of
the human beings.
