A draft project in rejection to
the blockade of the United
States against Cuba is already
circulating, as official
document, in the United Nations
(UN), for its distribution among
the countries members.
The text, approved recently in
the Latin American and the
Caribbean Summit for the Unity,
held in Mexico, was sent to Ban Ki-Moon, US secretary general,
by Pedro Nunez Mosquera,
permanent representative of Cuba
before the world organization. |

Las
Tunas
Paying
Homage to a Woman
March
9,
2010, 3:30 pm
The
homage to the Cuban woman was a
reality in Las Tunas eastern
province this March 8th. This is
a tradition that continues in
the whole society every year.
Each work center adds a detail
and celebrates the date to honor
its female workers. Although it
is not a daily homage, it means
that the Cuban woman is loved
and respected for her effort by
everybody around her. |
