master

piano

his 50
years of
artistic
life.
He
played
pieces
by Bach
Gounod,
Franz
Shubert,
Ignacio
Cervantes
that
delighted
the
public
in Las
Tunas.
During
the gala
the
inhabitants
of this
city
also
enjoyed
pieces
written
by
Federico
Chopin,
and the
Frank
Fernandez
himself.
A
significant
moment
in the
concert
was when
personalities
of the
territory
recieved
the
Distinction
Illustrious
Guest of
Las
Tunas,
granted
to
people
that
contribute
with
their
work to
the
culture
of the
nation.
This is
the
second
occasion
Frank
Fernandez
visits
Las
Tunas,
because
he was
previously
here as
guest of
the
symphonic
orchestra.
Composer
and
producer,
Frank
Fernandez
is one
of the
most
famous
artist
of Cuba
with
great
international
prestige,
supported
by more
than 200
pieces.
Some of
his main
distinctions
and
decoration
are the
Order
Felix
Varela,
in the
First
Grade,
the
Distinction
for the
National
Culture,
the
Medal
Alejo
Carpentier,
the
Medal
for the
Education,
Maximo
Gomez's
Machete,
the
Shield
of
Bogotá,
among
many
others.
