Las Tunas.- The development of true cultural projects and the achievement of better quality in the contents, as well as the increment of polemical programs in function of improving the socialist system, are some of the challenges for the workers of the radio in Cuba, asserted in this city Guillermo Pavon, vice-president of the Cuban Radio and Television Institute (ICRT).

During the provincial assembly to analyze the work of the radio network in Las Tunas, Pavon exhorted to help the quality of the programming with an investigative journalism able to criticize in a constructive way.

Moreover, the Vice-president of ICRT considered necessary the realization of spaces with high artistic values and depth in the contents to be transmitted to the population.

In the encounter the workers of the radio in Las Tunas debated the importance of the commission of quality as exponent of the planned work, the transmission of the local sport events as part of the informative necessities of the communities, and the professional training to the sport announcers.

The organized and individual training of all the professionals was another of the debated topics, with emphasis in the evaluations to the whole personnel, which includes journalists, announcers, directors, advisories and actors.

Aliuska Barrios Leyva, director of the radio network in Las Tunas highlighted the achievements of the radio stations of the territory in the year 2009, besides referring, in a critical way, to the bond of the radio stations with the community in the formation of values, political-ideological orientation, recreation and general culture in the society.
