Las Tunas.- The process of accountability of the delegate to the electors ended in the province of Las Tunas with the execution of three thousand 229 meetings, all of those planned for the second stage of these assemblies corresponding to the XVII Period of mandate of the Local Bodies of Popular Power.
José Serrano Brito, an official of the provincial government, said that 82 percent of the electors convened attended the meetings, according to preliminary statistics, more than nine thousand 200 approaches.
In this regard, he explained that the most frequent concerns involve actions by organizations such as Community Services, Hydraulic Resources, the Electric Company and Aqueduct and Sewer.
Serrano Brito valued very positively the commitment of the tuneros to face problems that affect the communities and that can be solved with the competition of the neighbors and pondered the work of the nearly 600 young people who participated as activists of the Popular Power in more than a thousand assemblies
The provincial government official also stressed that the recently completed process had greater organization and quality in the meetings, a new starting point for the permanent exchange between the people and the delegates.
