Las
Tunas .-
Thriving
debates
take
place
every
year at
the
Seminar
Marti
for
Youth
People.
In this
36th
edition
in Las
Tunas
province,
at the
115th
anniversary
of the
death in
combat
of the
Cuba's
national
hero,
Jose
Marti,
it
started
on the
eve with
arguments,
researches
and
conferences,
on the
contemporary
relevance
of his
thought
for the
formation
of new
generations
of
Cubans.
|

Cuba's
National
Hero,
Jose
Marti,
the best
Cuban
thinker
in the
19th
century. |
|
Children
and
intellectuals
attended
the
annual
event,
involving
young
peopleup
to 35
years
old,
according
to the
rules of
the call
that
comes to
schools
and
factories
to
inspire
creativity
and
curiosity
about
the
values
that
inspired
Marti's
life.
The
texts
Letters
to Maria
Mantilla,
The
Golden
Age and
Ismaelillo,
were the
center
of the
debates
for
children
and
adults
who
still in
those
literary
creations
can find
some
pieces
of
advices
to build
the
future.
This
time the
participants
discussed
the
perennial
validity
of
Marti’s
thoughts
on the
country
and what
a man
must
sacrifice
to see
his
nation
with
full
sovereignty
and
justice.
But this
exchange
between
two
generations
was also
a
strategy
to
improve
the
syllabus
at each
teaching
level in
the
search
of
creating
a better
human
being,
more
responsible
with the
environment.
And this
requires
the
teacher’s
self
training
on
Marti’s
literature,
his
continued
love to
talk to
his
students
about
how much
he
admires
and
follows
Marti’s
ideas,
expressed
with the
fulfillment
of his
duties.
