The
company
Radio
Cuba, of
Las
Tunas
eastern
province,
a branch
belonging
to the
Ministry
of
Informatics
and
Telecommunications
of Cuba,
is
finishing
an
important
part of
a larger
investment
process
that
will
improve
the
radio
and
television
services
in the
territory.
|

With an
attractive
design,
characterized
by
dynamism
and the
use of
different
colors,
Multivision
channel
has
maintained
high
ratings
among
Cubans.
|
|
One of
the most
important
achievements,
that
will
benefit
the
inhabitants
of the
region,
is the
installation
of
transmitters
of a
kilowatt
power in
the
different
municipalities
of the
province
to
improve
the
reception
of the
national
channel
Multivision,
with
priority
in the
territories
of
Majibacoa
and
Manati,
where
the
workers
have not
finished
yet.
As a
result,
the
signal
that was
previously
interrupted
at night
every
weekend
to open
way to
the
local TV
channels,
now
stays on
air 24
hours a
day with
better
quality.
Multivision,
the
youngest
of the
national
TV
channels,
began
its
transmissions
on July
7, 2008
and the
statistics
confirm
its big
acceptance
among
the
Cubans,
who can
watch
programs
from
Brazil,
Venezuela
and
China,
plus the
Discovery
Channel.
Along
with
these
improvements,
linked
to a
comprehensive
program
to
improve
the
so-called
community
signals
in the
country,
the
company
Radio
Cuba of
Las
Tunas is
working
in a
small
television
center
designed
to
optimize
the
emissions
at north
of the
province
and in
the
placement
of
repeaters
in
medium-wave
for the
signals
of Radio
Chaparra,
community
radio
station
in the
municipality
of Jesus
Menendez
and for
the
National
Radio
Rebelde.
In the
midst of
what has
become a
strong
investment
process,
Radio
Cuba
also
strive
in the
work
related
to
optical
fiber in
this
region
and the
creation
of new
generators
to
regulate
the
electric
energy.
