Las Tunas.- The women's quality of life around world is really alarming and although the female Cubans have privileges not everything is solved yet regarding their emancipation.

I am not making reference to their physical health, because in this Caribbean island there is a strong public health that is always monitoring all possible diseases among women.

I am making reference to dilemmas that are not seen easily, because their expressions are not the result of a severe pain or a visible injury, but remain as constant lack of responsibilities in the care of each woman.

The female Cubans, especially when they become mothers, don’t take care of themselves and don’t pay attention to a little pain that might lead to an incurable disease.

In addition to bearing children, the women of this age need their dreams come true in their families.

In spite of the social efforts some Cuban women continue working eight hours a day and at their kitchens too.

In words of experts of Las Tunas eastern province, many women often come to consultations with advanced disease that could have another end if they were treated on time.

These things seem to be from other ages but they are a real fact as result of the so-called equality of gender, because this has became a yoke that binds them to new responsibilities.

The reality is that a part from working eight hours a day, they also have to work at home. So women don’t take care of themselves, their priorities, their health, because they are always taking care of the rest of their families.

Health is the most valuable for a human being and to preserve it a free medical care is not enough, it is necessary to pay attention to the signs of the body and in case of any problem the physician will always tell.
