Las Tunas.- A group of six journalists from various mass media of Las Tunas eastern province, concluded their studies as a Master Degree in Communication Sciences and defended their researches on the media of the territory after two years of hard work.

The researches were focused on The Pictures Published by the Weekly Periódico 26, defended by Jorge Perez Cruz, Characterization of the International Political Discourse of Che Guevara, by Fernando Aguilera Estrada, Skips in Cuban Sport Communication: Regionalism and Baseball in the National Screen, by Dubler Vazquez Colome, Professional Ideologies and Journalistic Genres in the Weekly Periódico 26, by Alexis Perez Sanchez, Considerations around the Community Communication in the Cuban Local Television, by Yanneris Hernandez Gonzalez, and Audience of Radio Rebelde in Las Tunas, by Juan Manuel Olivares Chavez.

The juries were chaired by Dr. Julio Garcia Luis, dean of the School of Communication at the University of Havana, Maria de los Angeles Gonzalez of the same Faculty, Rafael Fonseca Valido, of the University of Oriente, and Rafaela Macias Reyes, of the University Center of Las Tunas.

Preciously 10 other journalists of this province, 690 kilometers east of Havana, graduated as result of this course to be Master Degree in Communication Sciences.
